World Series of Boxing Season 2010-2011
The WSB inaugural season qualified five boxers for the 2012 Olympic Games. Following their outstanding performance in the Individual Championships, the following boxers have been the very first athletes to book their tickets for London.

AIBA Oceania Olympic Qualifying Event Canberra 2012
This boxing competition organised by AIBA was held from 20-26 March 2012 and was the last opportunity for boxers in that region to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games. The event took place at the Australian Institute of Sport Complex in Canberra, Australia, where each nine weight categories were offered one quota place for the Olympic Games.
AIBA Asian Olympic Qualifying Event Astana 2012
This boxing competition organised by AIBA was held from 4-13 April 2012 and was the last opportunity for boxers in that region to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games. The event will take place at the ‘Daulet’ Sport Complex in Astana, Kazakhstan, where ten weight categories will offer a total of 25 quota places for the Olympic Games.
AIBA European Olympic Qualifying Event Trabzon 2012
This boxing competition organised by AIBA was held from 13-22 April 2012 and was the last opportunity for boxers in that region to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games. The event took place at the Hayri Gür Spor Salonu in Trabzon, Turkey, where ten weight categories offered a total of 26 quota places for the Olympic Games. Please be advised that one quota in the 75kg weight category moves from Asia to Europe and one quota in the 49kg weight category moves from Europe to Asia.
AIBA African Olympic Qualifying Event Casablanca 2012
This boxing competition organised by AIBA was held from 27 April to 6 May 2012 and was the last opportunity for boxers in that region to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games. The event took place at the Complexe Sportif Mohammed V in Casablanca, Morocco, where ten weight categories offered a total of 48 quota places for the Olympic Games. 154 boxers from 30 countries were competing.
AIBA American Olympic Qualifying Event Rio de Janeiro 2012
This boxing competition organised by AIBA was held from 4-13 May 2012 and was the last opportunity for boxers in that region to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games. The event took place at the Maracanazinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where ten weight categories offered a total of 38 quota places for the Olympic Games.
AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships Qinhuangdao 2012
The seventh AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships was held from 9 to 20 May 2012 in Qinhuangdao, China and served as the only qualifying event for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Tripartite Selection
After receiving final confirmation from all National Olympic Committees, AIBA is pleased to announce that a total of 19 boxers have received quota places for the Olympic Games as part of the Tripartite Selection process. Eight men and eleven women boxers have been identified according to strict criteria.
